This event takes place the first full weekend every October, this year’s falling on October 5th and 6th. Gates open at 8:00 am and runs to 8:00 pm Saturday and 8:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday. There is also a kick off party the night before at a local bar called the Barn of Harpers Ferry with live music, raffles, and other festivities.

The event itself takes place at Sam Michaels Park in Harpers Ferry WV. The heavy athletics are organized by MASA(http://www.heavyevents.com/) and there will be a combination of Celtic rock bands and traditional Celtic music playing all day including multiple shows by the Winchester City Pipe and Drum Band. We have a large section dedicated to vendors and will have multiple food trucks and areas to purchase alcohol on site. There is a clan village including education displays, highland clan organizations, reenactors, blacksmith demonstrations, birds of prey demonstration and other various forms of entertainment.

Tickets can be purchased online at hfccs.ticketleap.com/harpers-ferry-highland-games-tickets-2024/ and are $15. At the gate, the day of tickets are $20 with kids under 12 being free.
