Events making their debut in 2024

Since 2020, numerous Highland games and festivals, such as the Cupar Games in Scotland which had been celebrated for 137 years, have disbanded. Witnessing the closure of any Highland Games is disheartening, underscoring the importance of backing those embarking on their first journey in this tradition.

With that in mind, I have been doing my best to find out about all of the new Highland Games that are having their inaugural events this upcoming season. While some of these events haven’t confirmed their dates and locations yet, I will list them below anyway (as well as linking to those who have confirmed their info.)

Be sure and check back periodically as I update any info as I receive it. These events will also be in the calendar section once I have dates.

Slainte!
